Being a boutique rental agency, we are able to hand pick the exact homes we wanted in our portfolio. We offer high-end, luxury vacation rentals which beckon the best clientele. We have chosen homes to suit all group sizes and specifications without compromising the highest standards that we hold ourselves to. Being this discerning has earned us the trust of many vacationers who have come back year after year. We are happy to help our guests with whatever they need before, during and after their stay.

Unlike some of the larger rental agencies, we know each and every property inside and out. We know all of the sleeping, eating and playing arrangements of each property and can answer any questions our guests have.

Our Owners also know they are in good hands with us managing their vacation rental. We have a proven track record of renting our properties for 40 + weeks a year. Our annual rental revenue is higher and our owners expenses are lower than many of the agencies on the island. We don't "nickel and dime" our owners.

We work for our commission! We walk each property before and after a guest's stay. We have trusted, bonded and insured maintenance and cleaning crews and staff who will alert us of any maintenance issues that need addressing. We are available any time for our owners.

What makes us Different?

Any successful business is born out of necessity and/or the desire to simply provide a higher level of service that differentiates it and satisfies customers like no other. In this case it was both.

Beach Retreats was formalized in 2015 by two Canadian sisters, Emma and Claire -

"We grew up vacationing on Anna Maria Island and immediately fell in love with the beauty and old Florida charm. After 15 years of visiting with our parents, now having families of our own, we decided it was time to make our vacation paradise our full time home." - Emma Stringer

It was a huge leap of faith - a 1500 mile move to a brand new country, a new community, new schools, new friends and a brand new life. And it was worth it! We LOVE what we do. Making vacation dreams come true is our passion and there is no better place to do that than ANNA MARIA ISLAND!

Having owned vacation rentals on the island since 2009 and successfully managed them to the point where others asked if we might consider taking on more, Beach Retreats was born.

We were fortunate to purchase our first home in Holmes Beach in 2015. The builder gave us Emma and Claire’s contact information . That was a great decision to have them manage our home for all our rentals needs. In 2016, we purchased our second rental . I'm on my 3rd year of being a vacation rental owner and, at the beginning, was concerned about how the rental revenue would be for me as I needed to generate at least $100,000 to cover all of my expenses.
