Sweet and Salty
We recently stayed at the 3 Bedroom Sweet & Salty Beach House in Cortez, Florida, and it was exactly what we were hoping for—and then some. The location is hard to beat. You’re tucked into a quiet, laid-back area, but still just minutes from the beach and everything around Anna Maria Island. It’s the perfect balance if you want that old Florida vibe without the chaos of crowded tourist spots. The house itself was clean, spacious, and well set up for a family. The three-bedroom layout gave everyone room to spread out, and the common areas were great for hanging out after a long day in the sun. The décor had that coastal feel without being overdone, and everything felt well-maintained. What really stood out was how easy everything was—check-in was smooth, communication was solid, and all the essentials were already there. No scrambling for basics, which makes a big difference when you’re traveling with kids. Cortez itself is a hidden gem. Great local seafood spots, quiet streets, and a more authentic Florida feel compared to the bigger resort areas. If you’re looking for a relaxed, family-friendly getaway, this place delivers. We’d absolutely stay here again. -
