Free Island Trolley -MCAT (Manatee County Area Transit) fixed routes connect with the FREE Manatee Trolley on Anna Maria Island. Daily service runs from 6 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. every 20 minutes from the Anna Maria City Pier on the north to Coquina Beach on the south. Trolleys offer both air conditioned and open-air seating. Island Beach Monkeys is a new, free transportation service. Our fleet is available to drive you wherever you want to go. Want a ride to dinner? Need to run errands? Want a tour of Anna Maria? Our team of friendly drivers is at your service! Our fleet includes an 8 passenger Golf Cart Limo, two mini-buses, and an SUV. Island residents and visitors no longer need to worry about catching the last trolley, as our drivers are available well after the last trolley has left the Island. And unlike the trolley, our vehicles can cross all the bridges, meaning you are not limited to the Island. We can go to Siesta Key, Cortez, Downtown Bradenton, and even the Ellenton Outlet mall. You can pre-book trips all over the Tampa Bay and Sarasota area. Best of all, our services are free. Our drivers work for tips only! All of our crew are Island residents. We can offer a wealth of information about Island businesses, dining choices, sights, and special events. And our fleet is fun. We even have a karaoke-equipped vehicle.
