Attend a sunrise service on the beach. The 58th Easter Sunrise Service takes place at 6:30 a.m. on Easter, April 9, at Manatee County Public Beach, 4000 Gulf Drive in Holmes Beach. Bring a blanket or beach chair, and ride the free trolley to the service, hosted by six island churches.
Dine on a delicious Easter brunch. Reserve a table for a three-course brunch (served 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) or dinner with all carte dessert menu (served 5-9 p.m.) at The Chateau on the Lake, 15 Allens Way in Holmes Beach.
